Determine, through diligent research and our extensive experience, which foundations (or corporations) have an interest in your institution’s mission and, therefore, are a good match;
Identify the aspects of your programs and projects that will appeal to potential funders;
Ascertain the appropriate amount of funding to request (a key factor in securing grants);
Write precise and winning grant proposals that meet funders’ expectations and requirements;
Work closely with your staff to build relationships with such funders to ensure long-term support;
Manage the overall grant process from proposal writing to final report submission; and
Maintain a database for ease of recordkeeping and follow-through.
