With a prominent career in non-profit leadership and consulting, Linda A. Dickerson is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Pittsburgh’s National Aviary. Widely acknowledged as an expert on community and government affairs, her business column in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette addresses many issues of consequence to Western Pennsylvania where Ms. Dickerson is involved in extensive community service work. The 20-plus organizations she serves include the Greater Pittsburgh Convention & Visitors Bureau, Zoological Society of Pittsburgh, The Pittsburgh Foundation, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and Homeless Children Education Fund, to name but a few. For her extensive community service, she was recognized as a History Maker by the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania. In addition, Ms. Dickerson is a principal of 501(c) (3)², a consulting firm for non-profit organizations that she founded in 2004.  She received her undergraduate degree (Phi Beta Kappa) from Carnegie Mellon University where she is currently a member of the Board of Trustees, and her master’s degree from Duquesne University – both institutions have honored Ms. Dickerson as a distinguished alumna.
